Job summary

Navy Exchange in Guam is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the APRA Mini Mart location. You will perform receiving, stocking, issuing and shipping duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate basic materials handling equipment, and adhere to safety and inventory procedures. Training includes HazMat within 90 days of hire as per regulations.

Qualifications

• Twelve months experience performing warehousing related duties such as receiving storing issuing shipping.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming merchandise deliveries. Opens inspects counts marks unpacks segregates and or tags items. Verifies items against documentation to ensure correct items and quantities. May sign for merchandise received.
• Warehouses stock according to specified locations. Checks labels or bins for location accuracy. May be assigned specific area for the function.
• Pulls merchandise for shipment transfers or customer orders as directed. Verifies information on documents against merchandise or labels.
• May assist in charge back area performing tasks related to receipt, storing and shipping of over shipped/damaged merchandise.
• Performs periodic inventories and assists in inventory preparation.
• Performs basic housekeeping to maintain stock areas clean and orderly.
• Works under supervision and adheres to procedures; efficiency and accuracy are reviewed.
