Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in San Leandro, CA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will safely operate a stand-up forklift, pull and prepare outbound orders, and help move pallets and heavy materials in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers overtime as needed, with pay starting around $23 per hour and higher based on experience. Eligibility includes pre-employment drug/background checks, and a comprehensive benefits package through Ferguson.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years warehouse experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
• Experience with heavy lifting and industrial safety practices.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Offload, move, and store heavy materials weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Utilize RF scanners and/or Warehouse Management Systems to manage inventory.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and compliant with PPE.
• Work in varying weather conditions as needed.
