Job summary

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is hiring to maintain high sanitation standards in our food distribution center. You will operate floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks while ensuring clean, safe aisles and storage areas.

Ideal candidates have HS Diploma/GED and 2–3 years of warehouse experience, with forklift/reach truck certification preferred. Responsibilities include routine maintenance and support for site grounds and event setup.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Two to three years of warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
• Reach Truck / Forklift operation required.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Minor maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of warehouse sanitation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Operate floor scrubbing machine, scissor lift, forklift and electric pallet jacks.
• Provide janitorial/housekeeping maintenance in warehouse and office areas.
• Inspect and remove debris; ensure safe and sanitary conditions in aisles and storage areas.
• Assist with grounds maintenance and event setup as needed.
