Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean floors and organize pallets using cleaning equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Organize custodial closets and spaces.
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment.
• Move cases of merchandise into/from the warehouse floor.
• Load/unload cases of merchandise into/from containers.
• Perform general warehouse labor as assigned.

Warehouse Porter – Monday – Friday 1st Shift – 7:00am

located in Edison, NJ, was founded in 1998. We specialize in Temperature Controlled warehousing of wine, cheese, chocolate & craft beer. We have more than 75 refrigerated trucks that deliver wine to NJ and NY. We provide pick & pack handling and a variety of special value-added services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, using scrubbing machine to clean floors, removal of garbage, organize pallets in the warehouse.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Organize custodial closets and spaces.
• Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment.
• Bring/Take-away cases of merchandise into/from the warehouse floor.
• Load/Unload cases of merchandise into/from containers.
• General Warehouse Labor as assigned.

Job Skills Required:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to details.
• Able to lift up-to 50 pounds frequently.
• Able to stand throughout the shift 8 hours/day.
• Self-motivated and works at a fast pace to be productive.
• Reliable and has proven work ethic.
