Job Openings: Warehouse Picking Clerk (Afternoon Shift)

We have multiple full-time openings for a Warehouse Picking Clerk at our Shelbyville, IN facility. The role involves locating and picking merchandise using picking documents and voice pick systems. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Essential Functions:

1. Locate and pick merchandise, properly stage, check, package, and consolidate in both bulk and stockless departments.
2. Assist in stockless transfer processes.
3. Maintain knowledge of customer requirements for custom palletization and labeling, adhering to all policies.
4. Report inventory discrepancies and shortages, research issues, and maintain high fill rates.
5. Complete paperwork accurately and in accordance with procedures.
6. Stage picked merchandise appropriately, reporting concerns proactively.
7. Assist with duties in both departments, including order picking, checking, loading, and transfers.
8. Foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
9. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment, report damages or disorder.
10. Operate warehouse equipment safely, report mechanical issues, and maintain equipment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent; experience preferred.
2. Excellent attendance record.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Physical ability to perform motions such as bending, reaching, walking, lifting up to 60 lbs., and pushing carts weighing 100+ lbs., with or without accommodations.
5. Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment positively.
6. Forklift experience preferred.
7. Willingness to work overtime and pass background checks and drug screening.
