Job summary

Randstad USA in Conover, NC is hiring a picker/packer to support high-volume distribution centers. You will pick items using RF scanners, pack them securely with appropriate materials, and prepare shipments for dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and dress code standards. Shifts run 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM; Randstad offers equal opportunity employment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Picking: Accurately locate and retrieve inventory items from designated storage areas using RF scanners or digital pick tickets, strictly following quantity and SKU specifications.
• Packing: Select appropriate shipping materials and efficiently pack items to ensure they are secure and correctly labeled for shipment.
• Operate manual material handling equipment to move pulled orders from picking to packing or staging lines.
• Perform final quality checks on every order to ensure contents match the manifest and documentation is complete.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized picking aisle and packing station to support high-speed operation.

Your responsibilities:

• Packing: Select appropriate shipping materials (boxes, padding, labels) and efficiently pack items to ensure they are secure, damage-free, and correctly labeled for shipment.
• Operate manual material handling equipment (carts, hand trucks) to move pulled orders from the picking area to the packing or staging lines.
• Perform final quality checks on every order before sealing, ensuring the contents match the order manifest and that documentation is complete.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized picking aisle and packing station to support high-speed operation and inventory integrity.
