Job summary

Randstad is hiring for a picker/packer in Carlisle, PA. The role involves accurately picking inventory items with RF scanners or digital pick tickets and packing them with appropriate materials for shipment.

You will move orders using manual handling equipment and perform final quality checks to ensure accuracy. Maintain a clean, safe picking aisle and packing station to support high-speed operations while meeting packing standards and labeling requirements.

Your responsibilities:

• Picking: Accurately locate and retrieve inventory items from designated storage areas using RF scanners or digital pick tickets, strictly following quantity and SKU specifications.
• Packing: Select appropriate shipping materials (boxes, padding, labels) and efficiently pack items to ensure they are secure, damage-free, and correctly labeled for shipment.
• Operate manual material handling equipment (carts, hand trucks) to move pulled orders from the picking area to the packing or staging lines.
• Perform final quality checks on every order before sealing, ensuring the contents match the order manifest and that documentation is complete.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized picking aisle and packing station to support high-speed operation and inventory integrity.
