Job summary

VIP Distributing Company is hiring a Warehouse Picker and Packer at our Hazelwood, MO location for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. Pay starts at $18.00/hour, DOE.

You will read orders, pull and pack items, and enter inventory data to maintain accuracy, while lifting up to 100 lbs and following safety policies. We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental/vision/Rx, life insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation, and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Positive attitude.

• Basic oral and written communication.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift product up to 100 lbs on and off skids continuously all day.
• Fork-lift skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives and reads customer orders to identify item(s) to be pulled and their location codes.
• Pull, count and distribute products from warehouse bin locations to the production floor or packs and ships to fill customer orders.
• Enters appropriate information into computer systems to ensure correct inventory counts.
• Lift cartons up to 100 lbs on and off skids.
• Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to utilizing all harness equipment, and hearing and eye protection policies.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
