Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Columbia, SC, to pick, pack, and inspect orders and support shipping and receiving needs. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include measuring, counting, labeling, and quality checks, with opportunities to participate in inventory counts and process improvements. Physical tasks up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment and ensure correct items are loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Pack orders for parcel, LTL, and TL shipments.
• Record order information accurately on forms and records.
• Attach shipping labels and ensure DOT/IATA/IMDG compliance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support inventory counts.
• Participate in inspections and quality checks per SOPs.
• Communicate any incidents to supervisors.
