Job summary

Peter Millar, based in North Carolina, seeks a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping in the Distribution Center. The role emphasizes accurate product location, adherence to WMS, and safe handling of boxes while maintaining inventory records.

Applicants should be able to read and write English, have basic computer skills including Excel, and work 8-10 hour shifts. Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience desirable.
• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
• Experience working with a computer required; Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read scanner for locating product and selecting location.
• Follow commands on warehouse management system to place product in exact locations.
• Follow instructions as provided by a supervisor and a WMS; organize apparel products in boxes in the Distribution Center.
• Lifts, moves, tears down boxes and sometimes makes boxes to ensure orders are fulfilled; may operate baler for empty boxes.
• Loads and unloads trucks; performs order picking, wraps products, packs and labels for shipment.
• Uses a PC to access and maintain inventory records within inventory program and Excel.
• Responsible for quality control; ensure no damaged product is sent out and report issues.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and safety procedures; completes documentation related to goods.
