Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Pharmacy Technician to assemble patient deliveries, rotate inventory, and enter patient information.

You will coordinate with couriers to ensure timely, compliant deliveries to homes or clinics and assist with stock, receiving, and distribution. Responsibilities include maintaining courier relations, assisting with compounding and labeling sterile preparations, and performing inventory counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record which meets company’s standards.
• Meets all state requirements for the Pharmacy Technician (registration, licensure or certification).
• Texas requirement: Registered Pharmacy Technician preferred; Pharmacy Technician in training required.
• Ohio requirement: Pharmacy technicians must be registered; non-compounded duties only.

Responsibilities

• Develops positive working rapport with courier service and understands delivery protocols and compliance requirements.
• Maintains assigned vehicle in a clean and safe condition and informs supervisor of issues.
• Gathers and checks compounding material prior to entry into the clean room; compounds sterile preparations as needed.
• Labels compounded sterile preparations when allowed by state regulations; checks ancillary supplies.
• Picks, packs and coordinates delivery tickets and documentation; ensures cost-effective delivery methods.
• Maintains safe work environment and supports inventory count processes; assists in orienting new staff.
