This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, loading and unloading trucks using electronic systems and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role may require working in various weather conditions and shifts depending on workload.

Key duties involve:

1. Loading and unloading trucks, including raw materials and finished products.
2. Stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets to ensure stability.
3. Customizing product loads based on sales orders.
4. Ensuring safety and accuracy in all loading procedures.
5. Maintaining proper housekeeping standards.
6. Performing physical tasks such as lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Operate power pallet jack or forklift to assemble pallets per load sheet or voice pick system.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
• Wrap pallets and stage/load into trucks.
• Complete paperwork and ensure truck checks.
• Maintain organized and clean work areas.
• Attend reliably and consistently.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Warehouse experience, including order picking, using powered equipment, and managing racking systems.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Teamwork and cooperative work experience.
