This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy during loading and unloading, working from electronic order systems or sheets, and operating forklifts and electronic pallet jacks. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment and may involve working in various weather conditions and shifts, depending on workload.

Key duties involve loading raw materials, bulk products, and route shipments, ensuring proper stacking and shrink-wrapping for stability, and unloading returned pallets and flats. The position demands lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, along with standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Drive power pallet jack or forklift to pick and build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick systems.
2. Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
3. Wrap completed pallets.
4. Complete paperwork and verify loads before delivery.
5. Stage and load pallets into trucks.
6. Manage partial and mixed pallets.
7. Maintain housekeeping standards.
8. Ensure reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Warehouse experience including order picking, pallet stacking, and operating powered equipment.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Experience with racking systems and team collaboration.
