This labor-intensive position involves hand building pallets of products for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy when loading and unloading trucks, working from electronic systems or sheets, and operating forklifts or electronic pallet jacks. The role requires maintaining safety and cleanliness standards and may involve working in various weather conditions with variable hours.

Specific tasks include:

• Loading and unloading trucks with pallets of products, raw materials, and returns.
• Stacking and shrink-wrapping pallets for stability and transport.
• Following warehouse instructions for load building and documentation accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Physical activities such as lifting cases weighing 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Operate power pallet jack or forklift to build loads according to instructions.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and wrap finished pallets.
• Complete paperwork and stage loads for trucks.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

Helpful Experience:

• Experience in warehouse operations, including using powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Familiarity with racking systems and pallet stacking.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
