This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy, working from electronic systems or sheets, and operating forklifts or electronic pallet jacks. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, maintaining safety standards, and working in various weather conditions. Physical requirements include lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Drive power pallet jack or forklift to pick and build pallets according to load sheets or voice pick equipment.
2. Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items.
3. Wrap pallets when finished.
4. Complete paperwork and verify with trucks before loading.
5. Stage pallets and load into trucks.
6. Complete partial pallets and organize mixed pallets.
7. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
8. Ensure consistent, reliable attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.

Helpful Experience:

• Warehouse environment experience, including order picking, pallet handling, and powered equipment operation.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Experience with racking systems and stacking.
• Teamwork and cooperation in a work environment.
