This labor-intensive position involves hand building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy during loading and unloading, working from electronic systems or sheets, and operating forklifts or electronic pallet jacks. The role requires maintaining accuracy, following warehouse instructions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Work conditions may vary, including different weather conditions and hours based on workload.

Key duties include moving pallets onto trailers, unloading raw materials, selecting products for loading, and ensuring pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. The position also involves unloading returned products and pallets.

This role requires lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, along with constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Operate power pallet jack or forklift to build loads according to instructions
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items
• Wrap pallets upon completion
• Verify paperwork before loading
• Stage and load pallets into trucks
• Complete partial and mixed pallets
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Maintain reliable attendance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, pallet handling, and operating powered equipment
• Experience with racking systems and stacking techniques
• Teamwork and cooperative problem-solving skills
