Job summary

Western Coating in Ogden is seeking a Warehouse Person to support operators and prepare reinforced bar products for delivery. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and on-time orders at the Ogden site.

The position is full-time and on-site with a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, offering wage range and benefits as listed in the posting. Applicants must pass pre-employment screening and background checks per federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: rebar experience.
• Understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our employees and customers with respect, courtesy and tact.
• Ability to make mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Pulling material, preparing material for delivery with emphasis on safety and accuracy.
• Move material from trucks and restock racks following procedures.
• Assist machine operators, prepare parts for packaging and delivery per requirements.
• Attend safety/production meetings and monitor tools and equipment for safe operation.
• Assist will-call customers by loading material professionally.
• Ensure any damage to coating is repaired prior to shipment.

About this position:

Job Type: Full‑time, On‑site.

Schedule: 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday Through Friday

Wage Range: $17.65-$20.90 per hour, depending on experience. Depending on which wage step there is a wage review every 6 to 12 months.

Western Coating, Inc seeks a knowledgeable and experienced individual to join their Ogden team as Warehouse Person. In this role, you will safely assist Operators in the day-to-day activities enhancing their ability to accurately produce fabricated reinforcing bar in the most cost‑efficient productive manner possible.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Pulling material, preparing material for delivery, with emphasis on safety while enhancing customer satisfaction through accuracy and product quality. Keeping orders filled to ensure on time deliveries.
• Efficiently move material from trucks, restocking racks utilizing Farwest procedures and equipment to protect personal and material quality. Every effort will be made to track material and heat numbers for certification. Material will be rotated and kept accessible.
• Assisting machine operators, preparing parts for packaging and delivery per customer requirements and safe transport.
• Required maintenance and safety duties that include attending safety and production meetings and constant monitoring of tools and equipment that insure safe operation and minimal down time.
• Assisting will call customers by filling and loading their material in a professional manner
• Ensure any damage to products coating is repaired prior to shipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous rebar experience preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our employees and customers with respect, courtesy and tact.
