Your Day at Lowe's

As a Receiver/Stocker, you keep our stores clean and presentable, ensuring merchandise is received and replenished safely. You will unload merchandise, move it to the sales floor, stock shelves, replace damaged shelving, keep the backroom organized, handle hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged. Most activities are physical and require understanding proper lifting procedures. You may also assist customers and handle merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure products are accurately received, stocked, and replenished.
• Follow proper lifting guidelines to safely stock products.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe aisles.
• Engage positively with customers, vendors, and associates.
• Report safety or security concerns.
• Maintain a safe work environment per safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and listen effectively.
• Proficiency with smartphones and retail technology.
• Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Warehouse experience with inventory handling and stocking.

Additional Information

This role does not require regular travel but may occasionally involve travel for meetings, training, or supporting other stores.

Working conditions vary; you may work indoors or outdoors in different weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. Lifting guidelines should be followed, with a maximum of 75 pounds per lift, using team lifts when necessary, and powered equipment as trained.
