Job summary

Bergey's Truck Center in Trenton, NJ is hiring a part-time warehouse associate. The role includes pulling and staging parts for drivers, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, labeling accuracy, and maintaining inventory integrity.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures. Shift is Mon-Fri 1PM-5PM with Saturdays as needed; pay is $16.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consecutively.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage parts for drivers.
• Unload product from shipping containers.
• Put stock away in correct locations.
• Ensure stock is labeled correctly.
• Handle products carefully to avoid damage.
• Maintain inventory levels with accurate cycle counts.
• Be detail oriented to ensure correct parts for customers.
• Communicate effectively with management and teammates.
• Keep work areas clean and organized in line with procedures.

Summary:

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment.

Location:

Bergey's Truck Center, Trenton, NJ

Pay:

$16.00 per hour based on experience

Shift:

Part Time M-F 1PM-5PM Saturdays as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Pull and stage parts for drivers.
• Unload product from shipping containers.
• Put stock away in correct locations.
• Ensure that stock is labeled correctly.
• Handle product carefully to ensure it is not damaged.
• Maintain inventory levels by providing accurate cycle counts.
• Detailed oriented, always ensuring the right part for the right customer.
• Communicate well with management and team members.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• hot shot deliveries and cycle counting as needed
• Other tasks as assigned.
