Job summary

SEARHC seeks an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee the daily operations of the PAR Inventory Management system (Lawson) across the consortium. You will monitor reports, manage min/max and reorder points, and ensure timely scanning and delivery to PAR locations.

The role requires lifting up to 500 pounds, travel to outlying clinics, and implementing LEAN principles to reduce waste while coordinating with clinical staff and departments on backorders and stock optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in purchasing and inventory control in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience with Lawson or PAR management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains PAR inventory control processes and policy to align supply needs with inventory financial targets.
• Maintains PAR inventory and on-hand supply levels, including min/max and reorder points.
• Manages physical inventories, cycle counts, and PAR valuation reporting.
• Optimizes inventory levels for all Store and PAR items; monitors daily metrics and reports variances to management.
• Coordinates with clinical staff to address backorders and approve substitutes when required.
• Implements LEAN principles to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and lower costs.
• Travels to outlying clinics to assess and adjust PAR inventories.
• Prepares monthly benchmark reports and provides resources on PAR inventory needs.
• Directs warehouse/PAR personnel, including staffing, performance, training, and scheduling.
