Job summary

C&S Wholesale Services, LLC is hiring a Pallet Sorter in Plant City, FL. You will sort through returned packaging, unload trailers, and ensure pallets, totes and bales are moved to the correct locations.

Typical shifts Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $16.50 per hour with paid training, benefits from day one, tuition reimbursement and PTO. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Attendance and reliability required.
• General Education Diploma (GED) or High School Diploma.
• Initiative, productivity, quality and safety are valued.

Responsibilities

• Sort packaging from returned trailers and place in correct area.
• Unload pallets, totes, and cardboard bales from trailers.
• Sort pallets/totes/bales by truck, color, and destination.
• Record data on amount and type of returned packaging.
• Load packaging onto trucks according to vendor requirements.
• Keep the work area clean at end of shift.

Position Overview As a Pallet Sorter, you will empty return trailers from store deliveries of empty pallets, totes, and cardboard bales.

Earn $16.50 per hour

Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Frozen – about -20° - 0°

Perishable (Refrigerated)– about 28°- 60° 7:00 pm until the work is completed

Grocery (dry goods) – about 50°- 90° 9:00 pm until the works completed

• Unload returned trailer-truck's cargo hold of returned pallets, totes, and cardboard bales

• Sort pallets, totes, and cardboard bales according to truck, color, and destination

• Record data regarding amount and type of returned packaging

• Load packaging onto appropriate trucks according to vendor

• Clean work area at the end of each shift
