Job summary

Metrixvibration in Houston, Texas is looking for a warehouse associate for packaging shipments and various warehouse duties. This temporary assignment is expected to last up to 6 months.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience operating a forklift. Responsibilities include generating packing lists, performing accurate packaging, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Summary

Package shipments and work with Shipping and various warehouse duties. This is a temporary assignment up to 6 months.

Essential Tasks & Duties

• Generates packing lists and work orders.
• Inspects and packs company‑made products.
• Performs accurate packaging for outbound shipment of goods to end users.
• Assist in preparation of export documents for third‑party vendors. Make necessary changes if specifications change.
• Performs picking and kitting of parts to support Production departments.
• Assists in daily cycle counts as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and well‑organized warehouse.
• Operate the modular through storing parts.
• Operate forklift as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience operating a floor lift in a warehouse environment.

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to perform numerical calculations such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and floor jack.
• Ability to physically lift up to 45 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
