Location: 2100 E 15th Ave, Gary, IN 46402

Pay Target: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday OR Thursday - Monday from 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business

The Lead Package Handlers plays a crucial role in overseeing the offloading, loading, and sorting of packages for distribution in our warehouse. Our Leads are the ultimate team players. They work closely with Area and Operations M anage rs to train new hires, support business metrics, and uphold company values.

The Must-Have s :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs and occasionally up to 75lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bilingual in Spanish / English highly preferred

Your Mission in Motion :

• Supervise offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery.
• Train sorters to perform assigned tasks safely and accurately .
• Provide continual feedback to sorters, both positive and negative.
• Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation.
