Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a Repack Associate in Windsor Locks, CT. You will repack damaged items, ensure salvageable goods are ready for return to the warehouse, and maintain accurate records. The role supports sustainability by minimizing waste and requires careful handling of products.

The position is full-time on the 2nd shift with one weekend day mandatory, starting around 6pm, and includes benefits from day one, weekly pay, and opportunities for career progression.

Position Overview

You'll contribute your strong attention to detail to sustainability efforts by repurposing damaged items, examining goods for defects and providing our customers with the highest quality products.

Pay & Schedule

Earn $21.00 per hour Full Time, 2nd Shift- One weekend day mandatory 6pm start time - 5 day work week 500 North St Windsor Locks, CT 06096

Primary Responsibilities

• Retrieving and removing damaged product from the case and repackaging the salvageable product to return to the warehouse
• Stacking product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
• Recording receipt of returned products from in-bound trailers in proper manner.
• Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product

Physical Demands

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
