Job description

Position Overview
Keep our communities fed.

Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Warehouse Selector, you’ll pick, gather, and organize product and prepare orders for delivery to local customers. Upbeat individuals interested in staying active and fit while earning above-average income are perfect for this role.

- Earn: $20.90 per hour

- Shift: Part Time 2nd shift (Sundays and Fridays required) 24-32 hours per week

- Training: Must be available to train full time hours 1st week (Monday 12:30 - 8:30PM, Tuesday & Wednesday 3:00 - 11:00PM, Thursday 12:30 - 4:00PM)

- Location: 2215 Union Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081

You will contribute by:

1. Picking various items by using order sheets or an audio headset.
2. Stacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors.
3. Ensuring accuracy to orders while adhering to our safety standards.
4. Operating a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack & place on pallet and apply selection labels to appropriate cases (not in all cases).
5. Utilizing proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages.
6. Informing Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description.
7. Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form.
8. Frequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels.
9. Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.

What’s a great way to stay in shape?

1. Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift.
2. Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
3. Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more.
4. Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead.
5. Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height.
6. Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.
