Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a warehouse position responsible for selecting cases and other items to fill customer orders in a multi-level rack warehouse. You will operate pallet jacks/forklifts, wrap and label orders, and prepare shipments while following safety and quality standards.

The role supports the company’s distribution system with opportunities for growth and a safe, inclusive work environment. Training includes EPJ certification and shift-specific duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs location dependent.
• Work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Become EPJ certified within new-hire training period.
• Complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and ensure safety devices function.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallets jack and locate products per order sheets.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if required.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end.
