Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is hiring an Evening Order Picker for its Distribution Center, responsible for selecting items using voice-guided systems and building secure pallets for outbound trailers. This role requires familiarity with WMS and RF technology and offers full-time hours with a starting wage of $21.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in grocery or wholesale distribution; produce/fresh foods preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
• Experience with WMS, RF; Power Warehouse preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Picks the correct items and quantities using Voice‑driven process.
• Builds and shrink‑wraps a stable, well‑cubed pallet.
• Loads trailers as assigned.
• Checks and reports damage, shorts, or other quality issues.
• Follows and enhances SOP for labeling, stacking, and put‑away of inbound receipts.
• Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems, RF; Power Warehouse WMS preferred.
• Collaborates with management to develop and implement process improvements.
• Follows all food‑safety policies and procedures.
• Performs general housekeeping, sweeping and removing debris in aisles.
• Fixes unstable pallets in pick and reserve slots.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Picks the correct items and quantities using Voice‑driven process.
• Builds and shrink‑wraps a stable, well‑cubed pallet.
• Loads trailers as assigned.
• Checks and reports damage, shorts, or other quality issues.
• Follows and enhances SOP for labeling, stacking, and put‑away of inbound receipts.
• Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems, RF, Voice‑directed pick. Preferred Power Warehouse.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year driving and operating an electric powered pallet jack.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in grocery or wholesale distribution; produce/fresh foods preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, RF; Power Warehouse WMS preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, squat, and bend for prolonged periods in a refrigerated environment.

Compensation and Incentives

In addition to a competitive hourly rate, selectors may qualify for a selection incentive bonus and other performance‑based incentives.

All positions are full time and require availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
