Job summary

West Side Beer Distributing is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Order Selector (Hand Stacker) in Romulus, MI. This role entails picking customer orders for next-day delivery using ride-on pallet jacks, scanners, and headsets in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

You will work independently and as part of a team, with a schedule Mon-Thu, 8:00am–6:30pm (or until trucks are loaded), and compensation starting at $19.50 per hour plus pick rate incentive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse or manual material handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Commitment to safety and workplace integrity.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders for next-day delivery.
• Operate stand-up ride-on pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Use scanners and headsets to follow pick paths and instructions.
• Navigate a temperature-controlled warehouse to locate and select products.
• Stack and organize products on pallets according to company standards.
• Follow FIFO rotation and all warehouse safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report any safety concerns.
• Support overall warehouse operations by completing all required training.

About the Role

You'll work independently to accurately select products, stack them on pallets, and keep your work area clean and organized while following safety procedures.
