Kroger Co. in Clackamas, OR is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate responsible for order selection, packaging and shipping readiness. You will model Customer 1st behavior, read orders, build pallets and ensure accurate merchandise fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year experience or combination of education/experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime regularly.
• Ability to read orders to confirm catalog details and quantities.
• Familiarity with distribution center receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Model “Customer 1st” behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Select orders
• Read order to ascertain catalog number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise
• Build pallets
• Obtain merchandise from bins/shelves
• Submit order to shipping
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one year experience in work; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
• Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
• Familiarity with distribution center receiving terms and processes
• Ability to operate a pallet jack
• Pallet jack certification/license
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
• Six months warehouse experience
