Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center is seeking a dependable team member to fill retail store orders accurately and safely. You will operate warehouse equipment, verify items and quantities using voice commands or written orders, palletize, wrap, and transport orders to the shipping dock in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working weekends/nights, and adapting to ambient or refrigerated conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, overtime and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to work in ambient or refrigerated environment for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete store order assignments according to warehouse methods.
• Follow voice commands or read orders to verify correct items and quantities.
• Place cases on pallets and organize to minimize damage.
• Wrap orders and deliver to shipping dock.
• comply with safety and attendance policies.
