United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) in Prescott, WI is seeking an Order Selector/Warehouse Worker to pull customer orders using a power pallet jack and a Vocollect headset. You will safely and accurately pick items, palletize and prepare them for shipment.

The role requires physical work, lifting 20–60 lbs, ability to work Sundays, and ability to work in various temperatures; UNFI offers weekly pay and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify pick locations and safely pick the items.
• Inspect assigned equipment for safety issues.
• Pick correct item and quantity, check UPCs/descriptions.
• Place labels on the side of the cases.
• Shrink wrap and label pallets with required information.
• Stage pallets in appropriate bay and build stable pallets.
• Inform supervisor of safety concerns and keep area clean.
• Operate pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.

What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?

In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. Job Overview:

A WarehouseWorker uses a power pallet jack to navigate the warehouse to pick orders utilizing a vocollect headset system. You will be responsible for safely and accurately pulling and gathering orders of goods in our warehouse. Additionally, an Order Selector will palletize the orders, shrink wrap the pallets, and place them in the assigned locations.

Pay:

• Starting wage is$23.75/hour
  • $1.25/hr for 2nd Shift
  • $2.00/hr for Weekends
  • $2.00/hr for Freezer environment (if applicable)

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Available for work on Sundays

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items
• Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions
• Places labels on the side of the cases
• Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet
• Immediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threats, any violation of company policy, keeps area clean and debris out of work area
• Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
