What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?

In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. • $24.48/hr to start with yearly pay increase
  • +$2.00/hr for weekend shifts
  • +$2.00/hr for freezer shifts
  • +$1.25/hr for shifts past 5pm
• Weekly paychecks with option to withdraw early (One@Work)

Schedule (Two Available):

• 6:00 am start time - 4:30 pm (or until work completion), 4 days per week
• 5:00pm - 3:30am (or until work completion), 4 days per week

Work Environment:

• Perishables working in temperatures of 34 degrees down to -15 degrees

Job Responsibilities:

• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting objects 30 lbs. weighing up to 100 lbs. consistently
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping
• Willing to work in temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled environments
• Steel toe or composite toe footwear is required

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
