Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Miami, FL is seeking a Second Shift Warehouse Order Selector to pick products, load and prepare orders for shipment in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will work Sundays to Fridays with 2nd shift from 4:00 PM until finish, typically 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and operating scanners as part of order fulfillment. Starting wage is $22.95/hour plus a $1.00 2nd shift premium, with raises and incentives based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Order Selection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select and prepare customer orders in a high-volume distribution center.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity to meet daily targets.
• Operate scanners and follow safety procedures during picking and packing.

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Friday work week, with Saturdays and another day off
• 2nd Shift - 4:00 PM - finish (some shifts may vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You’ll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer. Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn.

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extremely cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Order Selection experience preffered
