Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Houston, TX is hiring a Warehouse Selector to join our distribution team. You’ll be on your feet for up to 10 hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a freezer as needed. No prior warehouse experience required; we provide thorough training through our dedicated training team.

Starting pay is $21.90 per hour with a $1.00 second‑shift premium, plus two pay raises in your first year. We offer weekly pay, day‑one benefits, wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company

Pay

• Starting at $21.90/hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium)

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• 2nd Shift - 3:00 PM to End of shift approximate finish time (shifts vary based on work volume)

• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
