The position is Full-Time Temp-to-Hire with early morning hours on the 1st shift. Typical duties include picking orders, pallet preparation, inventory organization, and routine housekeeping to maintain a safe warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment (-10°F to 30°F) and perform physical duties.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Picking and pulling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing and organizing pallets for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Organizing products throughout the warehouse and freezer using pallet jack.
• Unloading incoming products and properly storing them in designated areas.
• Checking products and orders for accuracy and quality.
• Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Performing daily warehouse cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Following all safety procedures and proper warehouse practices.
• Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at a client facility in Chicago, IL 60608.

Important: This position requires working in a cold environment and performing physical, hands-on processing duties. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Employment Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire

Schedule

Monday - Friday

1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Overtime: Available

Pay Rate

(Biweekly Pay)

Regular Pay: $18.00/Hr.

Overtime: $27.00/Hr.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to effectively communicate.
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the US.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be willing to undergo a Background Check.
• Must be available to start working as soon as possible.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. continuously throughout the workday.
• Must be able to remain standing and active for extended periods of time.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold-temperature environment ranging from -10°F to 30°F.
• Must be able to remain on your feet and actively moving for approximately 80-90% of the shift.
• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and other physical warehouse tasks.
