Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Albuquerque, NM is hiring Warehouse Selectors to support the local foodservice supply chain. You will pick and prepare orders for delivery, operate an electric pallet jack or forklift, and assemble customer orders in a fast-paced, physical role.

You must be 18+, able to lift 10–75 lbs (up to 100 lbs), stand 10–12 hours, and work in temperature-controlled areas including coolers and freezers. Prior warehouse experience is helpful; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Lift 10–75 lbs, up to 100 lbs frequently.
• Reach up to 72 inches regularly.
• Bend and twist while operating equipment.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.
• 1 year experience with pallet jack or forklift (preferred).
• 1 year warehouse or physically active job experience (preferred).
• 1 year selection experience (preferred).
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

Work in a Sysco warehouse and be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain. Warehouse Selectors pick orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community.

• Active, physical role that includes operating an electric pallet jack, and/or forklift
• Organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders
• Other duties as assigned.

Safe working environment, working in areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and type of product being selected (i.e., non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen.)

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.

Preferred Requirements

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
