Job summary

Randstad USA in Melville, NY is seeking a warehouse picker to locate, retrieve and stage products for shipping. You will interpret order sheets, manifests or digital scans and move items from storage to the packing station with safety and efficiency.

You will visually verify SKU, size and quantity, assist with basic inventory counting, and maintain a focused, professional attitude in high-traffic picking lanes.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Locate, retrieve, and stage products for shipping by accurately interpreting order sheets, manifests, or digital scanners.
• Execute the safe and efficient movement of products, utilizing basic material handling tools to bring items from storage areas to the designated packing station.
• Conduct visual checks on all pulled items to ensure they match the required specifications (SKU, size, quantity) before moving them to the next process step.
• Assist with basic inventory counting and verification tasks as needed to maintain high stock accuracy.
• Maintain a consistently professional and focused approach while working in high-traffic picking lanes, always prioritizing safety.
