Job summary

Ubique Group in Olive Branch, Mississippi is seeking a Full-time LTL Order Prep. You will prepare pallets for shipment, operate a banding machine and apply shrink wrap, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment on a 6:00am-3:00pm schedule with potential early/late shifts.

Our location in Olive Branch, Mississippi is currently seeking a Full-time, LTL Order Prep. The scheduled working hours will be Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:00pm, with occasional opportunities to start earlier or stay later depending on business needs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an LTL Order Prep, you will be responsible for preparing pallet orders for shipment. This includes tasks such as shrink wrapping, and operating a banding machine. You will also cross-train in additional warehouse positions as part of Ubique Group’s “We Move to the Work” approach, which empowers employees to expand their knowledge and skill sets.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):

• Prepare pallets for shipment.


• Operate a banding machine and apply shrink wrap to packages.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment (including sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed).


• Keep the warehouse organized and orderly at all times.


• Wear and maintain required safety equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Positive, team-oriented attitude.


• Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.


• Prolonged standing and walking on concrete floors.


• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and overhead lifting.


• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot/cold).


• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and handling materials.
