Job description

Job Description

Locate and pick products to fulfill customer orders within the Distribution Center. Responsibilities include locating, gathering, and transporting filter products throughout the warehouse to fill orders. Operate powered equipment and assist with physical inventory counts as needed.

  1. Picks orders based on bay locations, ensuring correct quantities and types of filters.
  2. Uses pick labels, sheets, and voice picking equipment as necessary.
  3. Replenishes inventory manually or with material handling equipment.
  4. Operates equipment such as tractor-trailers, lift trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, RF terminals, and radios.
  5. Assists with inventory counts and loading/unloading export containers.
  6. Processes priority shipments (e.g., UPS, FedEx).
  7. Inspects filters for damage or defects and reports issues immediately.
  8. Meets established production standards.
  9. Completes required paperwork and maintains a clean, organized work area.
  10. Adheres to safety rules and reports unsafe conditions.
  11. Ensures quality and safety of work and compliance with company policies.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Eight-grade education and at least three months of warehouse or forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to handle products weighing up to 50 pounds, operate powered equipment, and climb ladders if necessary.
