Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Kent, WA is seeking a Warehouse Staff member to pick and check products to fill customer orders. The role involves loading/unloading, packing, labeling, weighing, and basic clerical tasks using RF equipment and shop floor computers.

You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform hours of standing during shifts. The position offers salary between $21.00 and $21.50 per hour, with benefits, PTO and holidays, and potential for annual raises and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers and supervisors
• Experience in a warehouse job and/or order pulling is preferred
• Basic computer skills a plus
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• On/off loading of metal and doors from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or bundles for eight or more hours daily
• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
• Weighing, measuring and counting product
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
• Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren’t damaged
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
