Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Carlsbad, NM, to lead a warehouse team and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost control. You will coach staff, manage budgets, and partner with customers to solve issues and implement improvements.

The role requires 4–6 years in logistics/warehouse roles, a relevant degree, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to optimize staffing and operations in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field.
4-6 years of logistics/warehouse experience.
Knowledge of warehouse and yard management systems.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent leadership skills.
Valid driver's license and DMV standards.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates and leaders.
Adhere to budgets and review financial results.
Develop staffing and scheduling strategies to match volume and demand.
Hold associates and leaders accountable for business metrics and goals.
Provide guidance on daily activities including loading/unloading and inventory checks.
Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve issues and drive improvements.
Organize regular staff meetings for effective communication.
