Job summary

IMMI is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Macon, GA to oversee daily warehouse operations and actively participate in material handling, storage, and movement. You will manage inventory, assign tasks, train new staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support production schedules, improve accuracy, and optimize logistics, while maintaining a compliant, organized warehouse environment and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, materials handling, logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer service mindset.
• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant computer software.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and warehouse best practices.
• Must comply with all legal and corporate responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods.
• Ensure accurate inventory handling and proper documentation of all warehouse transactions.
• Audit and report inventory, providing recommendations on items to order and restock.
• Monitor workplace performance, maintain quality standards, and enforce SOPs and policies.
• Oversee safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates to ensure productivity, safety, and policy adherence.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Generate and review reports on inventory levels and warehouse performance metrics.
