Job Summary

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial role in our success by operating machinery to move materials for shipping, processing, and receiving, including unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, relocating, and stacking products.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Catalog, record, and organize materials received; prepare materials for order assembly.
2. Fulfill worksheets or tickets for customers by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions.
3. Locate and gather products to move and distribute to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas.
4. Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders.
5. Operate hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order pickers, and walkie stackers to transport items.
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English. Ability to understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Basic keypunch skills.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day, up to 6 days a week.
• High sense of urgency.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $18.25 - $25.50 per hour. Actual salary will vary based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

For roles with less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions and access to Employee Assistance Programs, Employee Resource Groups, and the Employee Service Center.
