Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a warehouse team member in Illinois to receive, scan, pick, and ship products. You will operate RF scanning systems, move goods through multiple warehouse zones, and help maintain accurate inventory.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and willingness to work overtime with little notice. Training across inbound, outbound, and ValueLink will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Previous material handling experience strongly preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate areas of the warehouse.
• Work at heights up to 25 feet consistently.
• Adherence to site safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment with quotas.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas (Inbound, ValueLink, Outbound).
• Receive large boxes, scan with RF, input product data.
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Use voice-to-pick to select items and place on cart.
• Palletize large items and wrap for shipment.
• Pack small items in boxes.
• Operate equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack).
• Support efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment.
