Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to support warehouse and logistics operations. You will accurately receive, inspect, store, and ship materials and products while maintaining inventory integrity and following safety procedures.

You will collaborate with operations and logistics teams to meet customer requirements and business objectives, performing duties with attention to quality, accuracy, and on-time execution.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, safety procedures, and work documentation.
• Strong written communication skills with accurate documentation.
• Strong verbal communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Capable of working independently while following rules, quality standards and safety.
• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work overtime as required to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, inspection, and order fulfillment activities.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, condition, and documentation accuracy.
• Prepare outbound shipments, packaging materials, and coordinate delivery requirements.
• Inspect materials and products for quality and inventory compliance.
• Complete order fulfillment on schedule and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support material movement across warehouse and production areas.
• Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records in company systems.
