Job summary

Petco is hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator in Cranbury, NJ to pull, pack, load, and move merchandise for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy. You will operate powered material handling equipment and handle items up to 50 pounds.

Position includes a 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday schedule, paid training, and overtime as needed. Full-time roles come with health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401K match, store discount, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math proficiency is required.
• Ability to repetitively lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls merchandise from storage locations and prepares for shipment.
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Replenishes inventory stock and performs inventory activities.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks using material handling equipment.
• Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise for shipment with correct labels.
• Counts material and ensures records match physical stock.
