Job Summary:

Responsible for operating all types of equipment – including, but not limited to, RF Scanners and Forklifts– for the purpose of performing various duties such as downloading inbound shipments, receiving shipments, downloading receiving related paperwork, communicating with corporate regarding schedule planning and inbound receiving issues, pallet pulling, put away, and other Production-, Shipping-, Inventory- and Receiving-related functions with direction from the Receiving Supervisor and Lead.

  • This is a first shift, 6am - 2:30pm position** Must be able to work overtime 4am-2:30pm and weekends as needed.

Job Functions:

  • Ensure that product is shipped out of the distribution center in a timely and effective manner
  • Stack pallets appropriately (straight, heavy at bottom, labels out)
  • Lift product and place on pallets
  • Use material handling equipment, once trained, to safely remove product from SULB lanes to ship prep station, staging area, or onto outgoing truck
  • Process, wrap, and label pallets at ship prep station
  • Move items to correct location is product is sent down wrong chute or is unable to read by scanner
  • Understand process if UPS labeling area (load loose items, continuous flow, special orders, and single cartons)

Qualifications:

  • Must have HS Diploma/GED
  • Experience driving a high-reach forklift, preferred Raymond
  • Ability to work at a moderate/fast-paced environment
  • Available to work OT, various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to display attention to detail
  • Previous work experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment
