Job summary

BIC World is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to operate equipment such as RF Scanners and forklifts to handle inbound/outbound shipments, pallets, and related paperwork. You will also coordinate with scheduling and pick/put-away tasks within the distribution center.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and adherence to safety policies. This on-site position supports a fast-paced, team-based environment with overtime and weekend work as needed.

• Must be able to work in a production environment that involves lifting boxes and product up to 40 pounds.
• Work requires moderate physical effort and the use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity

Responsibilities

• Ensure that product is shipped out of the distribution center in a timely and effective manner
• Stack pallets appropriately (straight, heavy at bottom, labels out)
• Lift product and place on pallets
• Use material handling equipment, once trained, to safely remove product from SULB lanes to ship prep station, staging area, or onto outgoing truck
• Process, wrap, and label pallets at ship prep station
• Move items to correct location is product is sent down wrong chute or is unable to read by scanner
• Understand process if UPS labeling area (load loose items, continuous flow, special orders, and single cartons)

Summary

The Warehouse Operator II is responsible for operating all types of equipment – including, but not limited to, RF Scanners and Forklifts– for the purpose of performing various duties such as downloading inbound shipments, receiving shipments, downloading receiving related paperwork, communicating with corporate regarding schedule planning and inbound receiving issues, pallet pulling, and put away.
