Job summary

Sleep Number Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operator I to perform picking, packing, and prep of finished goods in a safe, efficient manner. You will use Oracle WMS with a handheld scanner and support housekeeping, 5S, and inventory accuracy.

Cross-trained to assist in multiple areas, you may participate in assembly, wrapping, banding, and mattress disposal tasks. This role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, adapt to overtime and weekend shifts, and

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all functions of picking, packing, shipping and assembly operations.
• Must be able to work independently or within a team.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to operate simple hand tools (e.g. utility knife, tape gun).

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately picking, packing, and prepping finished goods.
• Operate within Oracle WMS using hand-held scanner.
• Perform 5S activities and general housekeeping duties.
• Follow process for proper handling of inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in assembly process.
• Safely operate mechanized wrapping and banding tools and assembly bagger.
• Safely operate the balers to assist in mattress and plastic disposal.
