Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings, a Westlake division, is seeking a warehouse associate for our Brownsville distribution center. You will accurately receive, store, pick, and ship orders using RF tech and standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound freight, inventory accuracy, and safe operation of forklifts. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for long periods, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma; basic math and reading skills required.
• 6 months of distribution/warehousing experience or related work; RF tech is a plus.
• Ability to read, count, and perform simple calculations; pre-employment math test.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Commitment to safety and accurate inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inbound freight: verify counts, inspect shipments, report issues.
• Storage and order picking; maximize space and accuracy.
• Transport orders to shipping platforms; use material handling equipment.
• Inventory tasks: cycle counts and record-keeping; maintain organized areas.
